5 Ways To Keep Your Clients On Your List
I’m sure you know or have been told that’s it’s super important to start and grow your list of clients. By a list I mean your clients sign up to receive emails or special offers from you and in return you collect their details and connect with them on a regular basis.
So Why Have a List You May Ask?
Whether you have an online or bricks and mortar business, your list is really a very important tool to create income for you. I may even say that it’s the most important tool. Having a list is one of the fastest ways you can generate income. The other benefit is that you get the opportunity to always be in front of your customer eyes and minds and not easily forgotten. So it’s super important to keep your clients on your list.
I bet if you’ve signed up to one of your fav businesses and are receiving their awesome newsletter in your inbox weekly, you know how quickly you become attached to receiving those regular emails, let alone the emails that come with those super irresistible offers and specials. Now think how many of those emails you have responded too and purchased something that excites you or make your life a little fun-ner.
So maybe ask yourself,” What’s the thing that has kept you on their list, and how can you make sure you keep your clients on your list too?”
Here Are 5 Ways That Will Keep Your Clients On Your List Forever
Rewarding your clients would have to be the best thing to keep them on your list. This is a no strings attached “Love Your Client” reward. Why not send them a $10 off (or whatever dollar value that’s appropriate for your business) voucher in your store. Or a Fee shipping option. You can give them a free gift next time they are in your store. You can be as creative as you like and what suits the tone of your business without breaking the bank.
This is a great idea to start a closer relationship with your clients. I remember signing up for a free consult and it ended up going for around 30 minutes and the information was so helpful. I signed up for 3 more paid one on one coaching sessions and have followed this guru for years. I’m always so excited on a Thursday to open her weekly email, and yes have become a raving fan.
People love you and that’s why they signed up to your newsletter and to be on your email list. Sharing about your week, hobbies and ideas is a wonderful way to connect and start a relationship. People buy from those they Know, Like and Trust. So this is the perfect way to start that trust. Maybe not a great idea to share your “Warts & All” stores, but a little bit is enough to become real to your clients.
I bet you loooove a great special, and so will your clients. You are allowed to make money from “specials” sent via email- hey there’s no law against that, but remember to give good value offers. I don’t think I respond a lot when someone offers me a 5% off offer. I recently grabbed an offer sent to me (25% off) from my online ink wholesaler and purchased 4 times the amount of cartridges for my computer. I couldn’t resist that one.
I’ve been invited to be a part of some “Secret, Special, Closed Groups” from some of those business lists that I’ve signed up too. This actually made me feel really special. A Birthday List is a great idea and you can send them fabulous birthday rewards, specials, cards and Birthday only offers that is selected for that group only. I may of had to pay to join on some occasions, but the feeling of being a part of a selected group was as if I belonged even more. It may take a little bit of extra work in the admin department at first, but once it’s up and running will be well worth it.
